Erectile dysfunction: what an online visit covers

4 min read · Reviewed for accuracy by the Evolve Prime team

It's more common than you think

Many men have trouble getting or keeping an erection at some point, and it becomes more common with age. Stress, sleep, alcohol and some medicines can all play a part.

Why your heart matters here

Erections depend on healthy blood flow, so ED can be an early sign of heart or blood-vessel problems. That's why your provider asks about your blood pressure, heart health and medicines.

The one medicine question that matters most

Tell your provider if you take medicine for chest pain or recreational substances such as "poppers". Combining them with ED treatment can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.

What happens next

A licensed provider reviews your answers, usually within 24 to 48 hours, and decides whether treatment is appropriate. Plans are billed every 3 months, and you're not charged unless a provider approves treatment.

Ready when you are.
